Copper Cathode Supply

Nexus structures copper cathode supply programs for qualified first users, including wire-rod, cable, tube, strip and other fabricators. Each commercial file identifies the cathode specification, brand status, origin, quantity, delivery point, inspection method and exact LME pricing basis.

Role and availability are transaction-specific. Nexus may act as contracting seller, authorized commercial representative or transaction coordinator. Its exact role, authority and responsibilities are stated in the applicable offer or agreement. Product availability is not continuous or guaranteed; quantity, location and commercial terms must be confirmed in writing.

Nexus distinguishes market context from a firm commercial offer. The benchmark, unit, pricing period and contractual adjustment must all be explicit.

  • Industrial first users with documented monthly consumption
Does 99.99% copper automatically mean LME Grade A?

No. Purity alone does not establish that a brand is LME registered or deliverable. The chemical specification, producer, brand and registration status must be disclosed separately.

Which LME price is used?

The contract must identify the benchmark precisely, such as the applicable Cash price or 3-Month reference, together with the pricing date or averaging period.

Can Nexus quote CIF pricing?

A CIF indication requires the destination port, shipment size, delivery window, insurance basis and confirmed freight. A firm quotation follows mutual business verification and supply confirmation.
